I noticed that there’s a video contest on Steve Poizner’s website asking for video submissions of your solution to California’s problems.
Meeting the challenges of the 21st century requires new and innovative ideas. We no longer face competition from only our neighboring states; we also face challenges from competitor nations like China and India. If California is to remain a world leader, it is imperative that we take bold steps to meet the challenges posed by a rapidly changing and increasingly complex global economy.
Californians are frustrated with their government and are right to expect their elected leaders to work together to address California’s biggest challenges. Serious reforms are needed to make our state government work again.
The contest runs until this Sunday. You have the opportunity to win up to $1000 for your club or charity organization. Let’s try to win this one for Liberty on the Rocks! :)
- Submit a video that that outlines what you love about California, how we can make it better.
- Videos should be two to three minutes long and must be submitted by May 31, 2009.
- Submissions must be posted to a website – for example, your personal blog or website, your club website, or YouTube.
